A Chilean Recipe "Neruda"

The Chilean director Pablo larrain's film 'Neruda' is telling the story of the famous poet Pablo Neruda. The story begins in Chile just after II world war. Neruda is not just a poet but also a communist senator. He enjoys both the positions. In the year of 1948 the Chilean government plan to arrest the communist workers for control communist party activities against the government.

The Govt. appoint a police official named Oscar for arrest and killed Neruda because Neruda and his literature works support communist revolution to a large extent. The Chilean President Gabriel Gonzalez need Neruda so, he gave continues orders for catch him. he start a journey from one place to another to avoid arrest.

In the movie the poet and the policeman seems a telepathically linked, as Neruda leave behind books which Oscar reads. Their thoughts are interlinked and their perspectives are interlinked. And finally Neruda tries to cross the snowy mountains to escape to Argentina. Larrain created this movie like a poetical realism. The film Neruda is like a cat & mouse play.
